Accomodation
Please book your hotel as soon as possible, but no later than the dates below. Special arrangements have been made with the Dan Tel Aviv Hotel (the meeting hotel) to accommodate delegates and their accompanying persons for the 13th IECEE CMC Meeting. The hotel is situated in Tel Aviv's lively seafront promenade The special rates are $235 for a single Deluxe room and $255 for a double room including breakfast buffet. There are also special rates for Executive rooms and Deluxe suite. The rooms at the Dan Tel Aviv hotel will be available for booking until JUNE 1st and free cancellation is possible until 72 hours before your arrival date. For booking please complete and send the attached file. Leonardo Basel hotel In addition, arrangements have been made with the Leonardo Basel hotel (156 Hayarkon St. Tel Aviv). The hotel is situated a few minutes walk from the meeting location at the Dan Tel Aviv hotel. For booking please complete and send the attached file.

Registration Desk
The meeting will take place in the conference room at the Dan Tel Aviv hotel in Israel. The Registration desk for delegates will be open on Tuesday June 29th between 08:00 and 17:00 and on the first meeting day between 8:00 and 10:00 around the entrance of the conference room. After 10 am, registration can be made at the permanent secretariat office.

Cultural Visit
The Standards Institution of Israel is organizing a one day trip to Jerusalem on Monday, June 28th. The trip will depart Tel Aviv at 08:00 and will return to the hotel at 22:00 (including lunch and dinner in Jerusalem). For those who will not be able to attend a full day trip, busses will depart to Jerusalem at 16:00 for a panoramic tour of Jerusalem and will return to the hotel at 22:00 (after dinner). The cost of this trip will be paid by the tour participants (prices will be published shortly). If you are interested in participating in this trip, please mark Yes in the relevant area of the meeting registration form.

Arrival
You will all arrive at the Ben Gurion international airport, located 20 km (12 miles) southeast of Tel Aviv and 50 km (31 miles) west of Jerusalem. Transportation: Taxi: Taxis are available just outside the arrival terminal. The journey from the airport to the hotel takes about 45 minutes and the cost is approximately 40 USD (approximately 140 NIS). Train: Another option for transportation to Tel Aviv is by train. The train operates from 3 am to midnight and can be accessed through elevators inside the airport. There are 4 stations in Tel Aviv – the Arlozorov station is closest to the hotel. The trip cost approximately 5 USD and last 15 minutes, Taxis are available outside the train station to take you to your hotel. For train schedule see http://www.rail.co.il/EN/Pages/HomePage.aspx Bus: Bus No. 475 is also available and it departs from the airport every 20-30 minutes, to “Arlozorov” (Merkaz) station. Last bus departs from the airport at 22:35 PM. Taxis are available outside the Arlozorov station to take you to your hotel. Participants are advised to check with their local travel agency about regulations regarding passports, visas, and vaccinations and, particularly, the time required for obtaining a visa, if necessary.In case of doubt, information can be obtained from the nearest Israeli embassy, consulate or diplomatic mission. If you need an invitation letter for visa, please check this on the meeting registration form. Currency and Credit Cards The currency in Israel is New Israeli Shekels (NIS), As this program was prepared 1 NIS was equivalent to 0.25 USD and 0.20 Euros. Credit cards, including VISA, American Express, Diner’s club, Master Card are accepted at most hotels, department stores and restaurants. Electricity supply Voltage in Israel is: 230 Volts (50 Hz). An adaptor may be needed. Adaptors are easy to find in airports, hotels, or shops in the area. It is recommended to purchase these items in Israel in order to ensure that it will function.
