JET Supports World Wide Manufacturers for Product Safety
Our testing experience has fully appealed to the public since 1995 when JET developed the third party safety product certification scheme so-called "S-JET Mark" that covers possibly all electrical equipment on the marketplaces on the demands of manufacturers, consumers and regulatory authorities. JET has certified S-JET Mark Certifications for over 133,000 models. The number tells that S-JET Mark is the "traders’ confidence" in ensuring the conformity of electrical equipment with relevant safety standards.
Every S-Mark applicant can have not only the confidence, but also the "certificate of conformity" that will be very significant to the electrical safety law which will be enacted in the wake of the new century. The law requires manufacturers to keep the certificate of conformity issued by Authorized Inspection Body for certain products. For other types of electrical products, retention of the test report will become mandatory.
JET welcomes S-Mark applicants with the CB Test Certificate and associated CB Test report under the rule of the IECEE-CB Scheme. We utilize them for granting S-JET Mark. JET issues and accepts the CBTC and CBTR for CABL, HOUS, TRON, OFF, TOOL, SAFE and LITE and also accepts INST, PROT and CONT within the scope of our declaration.
